 Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter Restaurnat St. Croix Senior members turned out in good numbers and gathered together to celebrate another year of sucess for the St. Croix squadron. For a second year in a row, the celebration took place at the Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter restaurant in Stillwater, Minnesota. With well over 28 in attendance our senior members and their spouses turned out to have a fun and casual evening of great conversation and good food. This also gives us a chance to talk outside of CAP and to get to know each other a little better. We all shared a good time and had some great German food and drink. We toasted to our sucesses, said good bye to old friends and said hello to some new ones. A brief speach by our Squadron Commander, Capt. Scott Richardson and benediction by Chaplain Capt. Joe Burton kicked the evening off to a great start. The St. Croix Squadron had a good year with cadet & senior recruiting, but our membership stayed pretty steady thoughout. We said goodbuy to an old friend, 2d Lt. Donald Vahlsing who passed away earlier in December 2011. Members and spouses in attendance were: Roger & Kim Brogren, Joe & Debra Burton, Michael & Julie Engbrecht, Brad & Bonnie Heck, Michael Johnson, Jim & Connie Higgins, Chuck & Judi Jents, Paul & Cindy Prior, Bruce & Barbra Ramsden, Scott & Bethanne Richardson, Susan & Paul Rogers, Bill Rutten & son Justin, Tom Simonet, Missy & Ray Slater, Jay & Desiree Sliwinski, & David Yost. We all had a great time and it was a fun way to end the year.
