St. Croix Senior Achieves Grover Loening Award

On Wednesday, 07 May 2008, Capt. Michael Bordonaro was awarded the Grover Loening Award.

The Grover Loening Award is given to Civil Air Patrol (CAP) members who complete Level III of the Senior Member Professional Development Program.

It recognizes those members who have dedicated themselves to leadership and personal development in the CAP. This award was first given in 1964 and honors the late Grover Loening.

Capt. Bordonaro had joined the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) on 25 Sept. 2001. He is a Flight Operations Officer with now a Senior rating and his other duties are as Transport Mission Pilot, Mission Observer & Mission Scanner.
