General ES Test Information

Several people have asked about how to take the General ES test on the CAP National website. Below are the links to the General ES test and materials.

The training materials are located here.  Select "General Emergency Services Slides" and keep that window open while you take the test.  The General ES test is an open-book test, so there's no problems in referring to the slides while you are taking the test.

The General ES test is located here.  You'll be brought to a page that requires you to select your test, input your CAP ID, and input your last name.  Select the "CAPT 116 Part 1" test.

After you complete this test with a passing score, print out a copy of the certificate of completion and put it in your personnel file.  The certificate of completion will also be needed to validate your test results.

Your 101 card will be now available to print out.  To get your 101 card, follow these steps:

- Log in to eServices (www.capnhq.gov)

- On the eServices homepage, select "My Operations Qualifications/National Reports" from the choices on the left side of the page.

- On the "Operations Qualifications" page, select "Emergency Services" from the choices at the top of the page.

You should now be at the page where your 101 card is shown.  Enter your personal characteristics (Height, Weight, etc.) and click on "Submit Characteristics".  Your 101 card should now be updated with this information.  Print this page and cut out the 101 card.

If anybody has any problems with this, please contact the Squadron ES Officer.
